Townsville’s newest dance party under the stars is back for another year! Hosted by the hilarious Ian Zaro, Dance Tropics Dance will feature an incredible showcase of local dancers from Dancenorth Company, the Lindyhop Swing group and crews from Dancenorth’s Open Class Program.
Dance the night away to party tunes by 1RAR’s kickin’ band who will be performing all of your toe-tapping favourites, a cheeky new kids set and hits from the 90s to get the MC Hammer moves going! Jezzine Barracks will be fitted out with Townsville’s largest dance floor, delicious eats by Otto’s Market food tr…ucks, a licenced bar area and easy no stress social dance lessons with Movimiento!
This is an all ages event so bring your loved ones, your hot date, your squad to experience an amazing night out under the stars with good music, food and dance. Our custom glitter tent will once again be on site to help you sparkle your way into the evening, a night not to be missed!
No dance experience necessary and family friendly (kids 4 & under are FREE)
The night will be full of glitter and party tunes by 1RAR’s kickin’ band, plus includes a huge dance floor, delicious eats and licensed courtyard under the stars by Otto’s, a flash mob and social dance lessons. This beautiful fundraising event will be the second of a series of three funded by Townsville City Council, aimed at developing the profile of Dancenoth Community local events.
